About this product
Taiwan is one of the world's leading frozen edamame exporters, with more than 80% going to Japan. Main varieties, such as Kaohsiung No. 9 ("fragrant edamame"), come from the Kaohsiung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station and give bright green pods with plump, aromatic beans. Spring and autumn crops are sorted, blanched and individually quick frozen (IQF) within hours of harvest; fresh pods are also available.
