About this product
About 80% of Taiwan's wax apples come from Pingtung, and the "Black Pearl" from the coastal townships of Linbian, Nanzhou and Jiadong is the best known. The bell-shaped fruit has glossy deep-red skin and crisp, juicy, sweet flesh. Off-season production extends supply from November to May, peaking January–March.
