About this product
Bred by the Chiayi Branch of the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute and known as "Golden Diamond", Tainung No. 17 accounts for over 80% of Taiwan's pineapple area. The golden flesh is fine-fibred and sweet with a touch of acidity, the core is edible, and the best crop runs March to June. It is Taiwan's main pineapple for Japan.
