About this product
Brought to Taiwan by the Dutch around 400 years ago, the indigenous mango is the island's oldest cultivated type. Fruit is small (about 150–250 g) and more fibrous, but intensely aromatic with a sweet-tart taste, and it is first on the market in May–June. Green fruit is also used for pickled "lover's fruit".
