Pomelo

Taiwanese pomelos from August to November: Wentan, White and Red.

Madou Wentan from Tainan is Taiwan's signature pomelo, harvested around the Mid-Autumn Festival, followed by Red pomelo in September–October and White pomelo in October–November. After harvest, pomelos are rested for several days to two weeks to sweeten and refine the flesh, and their thick rinds handle long transit well.
