Dragon fruit from May to December — sweet red-flesh and refreshing white-flesh.

Night lighting lets Taiwan supply dragon fruit from May through December. Red-flesh fruit is sweet and vividly coloured; white-flesh fruit is refreshing and travels well. Japan has accepted Taiwanese dragon fruit since 2024, subject to vapour heat treatment at 46.5 °C pulp core for 30 minutes.
